Despite what others say, these releases are not illegal - dodgy, shady, unauthorised, but not illegal. Having said that, the quality on these discs is just about OK, you expect radio broadcasts to be pretty good, but this just about passes muster.
I collect all the Zappa I can get my hands on, and I gladly bought this after double checking that I didn't have the same shows with a different name, I have already bought some of these twice with different covers, so watch out.
The main gripe is the 2 second gaps between tracks. In studio sets this is not too much of a problem (unless the artist composed in such a way that they wanted the music to flow (like The Beatles "Abbey Road" for example)) but a Zappa live disc MUST have no gaps for it to work properly.
This is such a simple amateur mistake that could have been put right with a mouse click in the mastering process, that it is unforgivable.
