Si comme moi vous êtes collectionneur et que vous voulez la jaquette et la notice passez votre chemin. A moins que votre objectif est de jouer avec les final fantasy version japonaises.

First, I don't notice any real difference between easy type and hard type. I really don't. There are probably tiny things that make this game easier than hard type, but I have no clue. I will just say this, if you aren't Japanese but need a game to help you learn a few words, get the easy type Final Fantasy IV, otherwise, get hard type because it is cheaper.
The start of the game, you are on an airship traveling with 4 other airships towards a town which I guess you are trying to take over. You are the dark knight Cecil (SESIRU) with Cain (KAIN) off to a quest. Most of the opening story, I didn't really pay attention to, but the plot seems a lot like the first Final Fantasy game. Luckily in this game, the plot seems to be straightforward enough that you will rarely find yourself wandering around because you can't read the game or didn't follow the story and know where to go. The way you can travel seems a lot like Zelda for SNES as in the map opens up a little at a time every time you complete a big task and sometimes closes off paths behind you which is good so you minimize backtracking just in case you are like me and don't read the story. The game's pace is pretty good, you only have to stop and level up every once in a while and in most cases, you can just rush through the game while having your weaker characters level up in difficult places they aren't ready for. The music, backgrounds, and characters are all pretty good and are enough to keep you playing as the game unfolds. This game is really not for those who have short attention spans, play Chrono Trigger if you have a short attention span because the pace is much higher. Final Fantasy IV really is one of those games the creators wanted to have unfold as you play, but it may sometimes not seem that way because large portions of the game were cut due to SNES memory not being able to exceed 4MB.
Bottom line, a good RPG and one of the better of the franchise. I personally think and I know I will get flamed comments for this, Final Fantasy 1-6 are the only ones worth playing. 7 is overrated, 8-13(what are they on, 13 3?), I just didn't care for. I think Final Fantasy 5 and 6 are the best.
