This fifth volume in the Neo Geo Online Collection covers the beginnings of the Nests faction, as well as branches the new protagonist K' and some secondary characters to the series (like Whip, Vanessa, Ramon etc.). There are three titles in this collection: the Dreamcast versions of KoF '99 (renamed KoF '99 evolution), 2000 and 2001, plus all three games in their Neo Geo AES renditions and features like Color Edit Mode and Puzzle Mode. NeoGeo ports are arcade perfect, but the arranged soundtrack cannot be played in AES version and there isn't any video filter or ‘softening’ effect of some kind. Nonetheless, this collection is a must buy for every KoF fan, at least for those who don't have a Neo Geo System.
