ヴェネスネの他の作品に比べると、アクが強くなく聴きやすい作品だと思います。純粋にブレイクコアっぽいものを求めてるのなら、このアルバムがうってつけかも。曲もいつもどおり激しいのですが、ユーモア(というか悪ふざけに近い)を感じさせるのが多いですので。しかし、そこはヴェネスネ。8曲目『FLASHFORWARD』における、目も眩むほど緻密なプログラミングと後半の異常な発狂具合、10曲目『MISS BALATON』の暗くシリアスな曲展開など、やはり一筋縄ではいきません。ファンの方はもちろん、ヴェネスネ聴いてみようかなって人にもオススメです。

　先ずは、一発切れ上がったジャングルから始まりますね( ﾟ∀ﾟ)
　spoken wordsをがっちりとレシヴァしました。
2. Kuunut-kariffee
　テクノが揺れながら進撃してます。
　捩れたテクノ・ウェイヴで在ります。
3. Sajtban
　雄蜂のごとし忙しい音韻世界です。
　慌ただしいアトモスフィアをパッシヴァする。
4. Kyokushin
　スピッツとしたテクノがエクスパンドしております。
　Hey ! シェークダウン！テクノに海苔、danser ヾ(^ｰ^)ゞﾀﾞﾝｽ
5. Euroco MVP
　サンジカリスムに陥ったエレクトロ・テクノで在ります。
　激しいリズムなり。
6. Poo yourself
　さて中盤戦に。
　リズミックなニカで在ります。
7. Circle pit
　行きつ戻りつ、忙しい音韻世界です。
　慌ただしいアトモスフィアなり、

　AFXあたりを彷彿とする。

9. Bebikuronica nigiri
　さあラストスパートだ。
　押し寄せるニカの漣、
　はてここらで「くだものやさん　ミックスゼリー」を食べましょう、コロちゃん・ケロちゃん、ちゅーるる、ぱっくぱくう、果物ち、美味しいね、

10. Mis balaton
　さて宴もたけなわで御座いますが、いよいよラストの鴇を迎えました。
　先ずは、アンビエントが浮遊する。
　力強いニカがエクスパンドしております。
　その音韻群をば、傾聴しておりますと、而して、ニカが幽鬼して静かに終焉を迎えます。

Un album résolument speedé. Un peu plus de 50 minutes de snare drums torturées. Par opposition, ça manque un tout petit peu de "mélodies". Mais Monsieur Snares porte bien son nom, et cet album déchire tout.

I own several Venetian Snares albums, most of which I like. There is however no excuse for this pile of total crap released by Aaron Funk. Just the same old churn of hyperspeed, cut up beats, and dub step basslines, but this time, totally amateurish and cheesy. There is not one worthwhile track on this album, as a matter of fact, I barely made it through the entire album. It's almost as if the artist is trying some sort of social experiment to see how truly bad he can make an album, and how many of his fans will actually buy it. It even comes replete with vocal samples from Star Trek (do we need really need another one, electronic music fans?). If you're not a Venetian Snares fan, and would like to start somewhere, this is not the place to start. If you're a fan, proceed with caution, extreme cheesiness ahead.

"There's not a black America and white America and Latino America and Asian America; there's the United States of America. (...) " sagte Barack Obama in einer seiner ersten Reden im Jahr 2004. Genau diese Aussage trifft auch auf das letzte VS Album zu:
"Dies ist kein Breakcore, Dies ist kein Jungle, Dies ist Venetian Snares"
Mehr bleibt eigentlich nicht zu sagen. Jeder der anspruchsvolle und progressive Electronica Alben mag, kommt an Venetian Snares lange nicht mehr vorbei. Alles das was Aphex Twin für die Neunziger war ist VS für's aktuelle Jahrzehnt!
Mal ganz abgesehen, ob es das beste Album von Aaron ist oder nicht. Es ist ein solides Stück elektronische Musik und jeder, der dieses Album kauft weiss, dass er im Grunde nix falsch machen kann!

Just another good venetian snares album. Plenty of breaks & samples. A must for any fan, possibly a more accessible album for anyone new to venetian snares
