This backpack is a five star product. Have searched for backpacks for short women. Most others will pinch, or shoulder straps will not sit right and cause discomfort through a hike. The straps on the Osprey sit, and fit just right, then adjust even more for fine tuning. This pack is very light, yet large enough to carry all that is needed for day hikes, walks, kayaking...
Have even run with this pack with no trouble. It has a fantastic venting mesh to keep your back cool. There are several storage places for quick grab items. If you are interested in a hydration unit, it is set up for that too.
