体高約１４ｃｍ。
とにかくよく動きます。
胸の前で手を合わせたり、地面に両手を付いて錬成ポーズを再現出来たりします。
他社製品になりますが、フィグマ、の構造では到底実現できない可動かと…。

顔は４パターンで、「似てない」と思われる方もいると思いますが、
自分的には、アリだな、と思いました。
特に歯を食いしばっているものが一番しっくりくる、と思っています。

オートメイルの交換用右腕と、右腕を錬成した刃バージョンが付いています。
その際、コートの破れ、を再現するパーツが付いていてけっこう芸が細かい。
コートの形状は固定ですが、角度を色々変えられるので躍動感が出ます。
ブーツの底は溝が切ってあってけっこう細かいところまで作ってあるなー、
という印象でした。

ただ言いたいのは、
「エドってこんなにスタイルよかったっけ？」ということです。
チビキャラをウリにしているはずなのに、
これじゃあどう見てもけっこうな高身長ですよ。
逆にその点がマイナス材料なのでは？と思ってしまうぐらいです。

そして、これから発売になる、アルフォンス、
は整合性とるためにどんだけでかくなるんだ？
ということが非常に気がかりです。

この価格帯でこの性能はけっこうお得なのではないか、と思いました。

Second hand figure, arrived a bit dusty and missing armature for stand and effect piece for foot. Find it hard to pose to match pictures on box. Figure looks good. Would be good if revoltech revisit fullmetal alchemist and give us more of the manga characters and some new versions of Edward without his red coat as this limits options for poses and display.

手にとってまず気になるのが首・胴・肩・股の関節の隙間と、コートのリボ球接続部の塊です。
これらのために破綻が目立たないポージングの幅がかなり狭まっています。
パッケージの写真のようなポーズをパッケージの写真のような角度で見ないと、見たくない破綻が見えてしまうことが多いです。
個々のパーツの皺のカッティングなんかはかっこいいのですが、関節の隙間のために全体的には残念なシルエットになってしまう感じです。
可動範囲重視なのかもしれませんが、人間や服のしなやかなイメージが犠牲になっており、バラバラガチャガチャしていてあまり俺好みのパーツ構成ではありませんでした。
ここまでバラすなら、いっそもっと分割箇所や二重関節を増やしてスムーズなラインを維持しやすくすべきだと思いました。
なので、これは動かして遊ぶよりも、特定のポーズに組み上げて飾っておくほうに向いている気がします。

あと両手を地面につくポーズのために、フードがもっと動いたり、首がぐっと上を向くようになっていて欲しいと思いました。

ギャグ顔の出来やエフェクトパーツは良いと感じましたが・・・全体的には不満の方が多いかな・・・

「ヤマグチシリーズの顔は「あまり似てない」「真正面を向いてない」のでちと違和感がある上にレビューサイトを見て不安だったのですが、手にとってみるとそうでもなかったですね。真正面を向いた顔なんかなかなかのイケメンでした。ギャグ顔も完成度が高いので、他のキャラと絡ませて遊んでいます。
ただ、派手なアクションをとらせるためか肩が張っていて猫背ぎみです。体を反らせようとするとお腹に隙間が・・・・
なので胸と胴をつないでいるリボ球をワンサイズ小さいものに取り替えてみました。スタイルは少し悪くなった気がしますが、隙間がなくなったうえ、0.5mm縮みました。エドごめんよ
足が大きいためポーズを取っても他のリボのようにちょっとした振動で倒れたりすることはありません。ただ、持ち手がないのが残念ですね。これは付けて欲しかったなぁ
それを除けば満足のいく商品だと思います。

見栄えか？動きか？

発売前の発表写真通りの出来栄えで、
表情の再現度もやや大人びた感はありますが、
なかなかに高い再現度に仕上がっています。
個人的にはズボンの皺のラインに荒川味がたっぷり出ており、
うっとりさせられます。

手足のみならず、エドこだわりの赤いコートの裾まで靡く様に可動しますので、
大きなアクションシーンも再現可能です、
棒立ちにすると手足が長目になっていますが、
そのおかげでアクションシーンの再現にも幅を持たせることができるようになっており、
可動フィギュアという視点では十分アリですね。

ただ見た目としては股関節が気になりすぎます、
ここが動いてくれるので大きなアクションシーンも再現可能なのですが、
それ故にリボ関節が目立ちすぎてしまい、
見栄えとして非常に違和感が大きいのは否めません、
あと、少々小物が少ないかな？左膝下分のオートメイルパーツも欲しかった気もします。

小物はさておき、不満は股関節の見栄え一点ですが、
この一点が中々に大きい気もします、
とは言え、見栄え度外視の股関節と、長目の手足のために良く動きますし、
キャラの再現度自体は非常に高く、
リボや可動フィギュアのファンのみならず、
ハガレンファンにもオススメできる仕上がりになっています。

A must for FMA fans. A bit on the pricey side but if you love the series you'll impart with the cash. The level of detail and likeness is excellent. Of all the Edward Elric action figures I have researched this stands head and shoulders above the rest. It's fully poseable and includes different hand and facial gestures to swap around. The facial gestures included have excellent variation. Perhaps the best is the expression Ed has when people reference his rather small stature! Now it's time to save for Alphonse!

The Revoltech series of figures are well-known for their unique build. Each figure's articulation joints are made of a small piece that is like a combination of hinge and ball joints. This leads to some fantastic articulation, as well a build quality that feels both sturdy and delicate at the same time.
As you would imagine, with the smaller joints like the wrist and neck, the joint pieces get smaller, and as a result they begin to demand your utmost care when manipulating the joints or interchanging the various parts. But a steady hand and some deep breaths will get you - and your figure - through in one piece.
Or to say it simply: The Revoltech figures are not simply a child's toy. These figures are for serious collectors who intend to display them.

This Edward Elric figure is exactly what you'd expect of the Revoltech series. Beautifully sculpted, and almost intimidating in it's use of the Revoltech articulation joints. But everything comes together to create a wonderful figure.

The articulation on this figure is impressive to say the least, however I will say that the Revoltech figures have a bit of a learning curve. I was unfamiliar with Revoltech figures before this figure, and so I actually had to take a while to learn the "in's and out's" of how each joint could and could not be manipulated.

Posing the figure for the first time is almost like solving a puzzle, as you slowly find what each limb and part can do. But once you get the hang of everything, and over the first trepidation you might feel when you hear the joints clicking into place, it becomes a joy to discover new ways to pose the figure.

The sculpt on this figure is fantastic, and the muted, gritty colors are reminiscent of the original anime series, not the vibrant colors of the "Brotherhood" series.

If you are a fan of the series, I would highly recommend picking this figure up to be displayed in your home. Oh, and don't forget to pick up Edward's younger brother Alphonse Elric while you're at it!

I am one of those guys who collects figures. I own several different brands of these high quality, extremely detailed figures soooooo I know what I'm talking about, you can trust me.

This is a review of Revoltech's Edward Elric figure, From the popular anime/manga series Fullmetal Alchemist. (My favorite anime of all time.) This figure is awesome. It is extremely posable, even his hair and coat are posable. His body is kind of weird, the way his torso bends looks strange during some poses. you can swap out his fore arm, for his auto-mail arm which even comes with a piece of his torn sleeve to give the effect that he tore through it while transmuting his arm into a sword. (comes with the sword part too) Some of the other things included, besides the usual faces and hands are 3 Transmutation effects and what I can only describe as a "dirt slidey effect" that makes it look like he's sliding in dirt, hence the name.

And who could forget the included revolcontainer? It's a little box that can store all the extra parts. some of the parts i thought wouldn't fit, but i was wrong. It all fits excluding alchemy effect parts, that's a fore arm (metal or otherwise) 3 faces, 5 hands, sword extension, and torn jacket. Which is amazing, if you ask me.

4 faces are included, and they are super detailed. Sometimes I look really closely at them and think, "How did they do that?" One of the faces in particular is hilarious, if you look at the pictures you'll know which one I'm talking about. It practically says "Who are you calling a pipsqueak!?!?"

These Figures are kinda pricey for some that is why I always buy one at a time, but yeah this figure is definitely worth owning. he goes well with his younger brother, which they a also made into a Revoltech figure... buy them both!

Another excellent Revoltech figure to add to any collection, even better for us FMA fans. I purchased the Alphonse figure and was not disappointed. Now I have both brothers and the dynamics on this figure are awesome. It included everything displayed on the product's page and also an extra small transmutation effect, as it's only pictured with one. The exchangeable faces are very detailed, as is the automal arm. As always these figures are very poseable and the coat serves as a counter-balance for Edward, so you can pose him as much as you want, even without the stand. The joints are more visible on this one, though (compared to Alphonse). But they're not an eyesore. Again, joints fit perfectly and are easily exchangeable. If you are collecting revoltech figures or just FMA stuff, you HAVE to buy this.
