実際に使ってみて、どうしてこれ単品でショルダーバッグ、又はウェストポーチにならんのかな？とずっと思ってました。

そしたら！！

隠れてたのよ紐が！！！

洗濯して干す時に気が付いたよ！！！

これで無敵だよ、このバッグは。
本当にこんなチャックも丈夫で使いやすいバッグはない。
まあちょっとリュックから外れやすいけど。

私はコレをずっと使うと思う。
安物のチャイナ製品買うよりコッチ買った方が良いですよ。

私はこういうアイデアの詰まった作品が好きだ。

ショルダーにもなるし、直接ザックにも取り付け可能でサイズ的にも希望のものでした。ポケット地がメッシュですし、防水性はないようですが厚みがあまりないので雨の時などはレインウエアの内側にしても邪魔にならなそうです。

手持ちのザック（6個）全てに簡単に装着出来る。（ショルダーハーネスのウェビングテープが２５mm以内のザックならまず問題なく装着出来る。）
大きさは、財布、地図、コンパス、ナビ、バンダナ、ティッシュを入れるのに丁度良い。
立ち止まった時にナビとか地図コンパスをサッと取り出せる。
貴重品を集めて入れておけるので下山後に温泉とか飲食とかでザックから離れる時も安心。
２回使ったんだけど、登山時は常に使うことになりそうです。

My Osprey packs don't have enough room in the hip belt pockets for all the crap I need ready to hand. When I got sick of having to disconnect and reconnect a sternum pouch every time I got in and out of the pack, I purchased one of these. Once I received it, I knew immediately that I'd need two, one for each hip.

On one GrabBag I lined the main compartment with neoprene for padding for my Nikon One V3. The side pocket contains spare batteries, lens brush, and a Sea to Summit 2L drybag that (not that it matters) matches the GrabBag. The drybag is there to protect the camera just in case I get caught in weather or have to ford a tricky stream. I'm right handed, and I quickly discovered that the camera bag should be mounted on my left hip for a quick one-handed draw. Because of the way the zippers are mounted, putting it on the right side was almost unusable.

The other GrabBag is for all the other little things a girl needs all day while hiking: phone, chapstick, bug spray, sunscreen, clipon sunglasses, blah blah blah. Since a quick draw isn't so important for these things, they work out just fine on the right hand side. I quickly got so jazzed about this that it's actually become my purse most days. If I need a dressier purse, I just slip this guy in it and off I go looking stylish.

There are some little design issues that I've managed to overcome. First, I discovered that the gray gizmos you're supposed to thread through your pack straps aren't worth a flip. I cut them right off and replaced them with smallish carabiners. The carabiners are mounted permanently to my packs, on each side of each pack there's one near the buckle of the hip belt and one back toward the rear of the existing hip belt pocket. I can clip the pouches onto those carabiners regardless of which pack I'm using (I use a 65L Aura and a 20L Tempest). When it's time to drop the pack and go sightseeing, I unclip the bags from the pack and pull out the long strap conveniently tucked away in its own pocket on the back. Presto! It's a fanny pack, a shoulder bag, or a crossbody bag. I've even buckled them together by attaching the long strap of one to the buckle of the other, and vice versa. Then it's a double lumbar bag, or a fanny pack in back and a belly bag in front. I've even been known to put one on each shoulder, crossbody style, for a pouch on each hip. This is goofy looking, but quite comfortable and handy. After you've been hiking with them on the pack, having them both in the same spot on your hip quickly becomes second nature. It just works!

And, I might mention, they hold an awful lot of stuff for their size!

And don't forget, being Osprey, they're guaranteed for life. I LOVE ALL THINGS OSPREY!!

I really like this nifty little Osprey pack attachment. I can hold snacks, my keys, a lighter, small flashlight, some first aid (if needed), and a couple other knick knacks. It's not waterproof or water resistant, so DO NOT put your Ipod or cell phone in this grab bag! It was pretty easy to attach to my Osprey Daylite pack and easy enough to take off and attach another pack if need be. The fabric and stitching is top notch from my closer inspections and as long as it's taken care of, it should maintain a reasonable longevity during usage.

Let's face it, there are things when we are backpacking that we want close at hand... Waist pouches on your hip belt are not always easy, or convenient to get into on the go. You cant see what you are doing in them and digging around can lead to dropping smaller items that you will never see fall out on the trail, until it is too late.

This is quite the ingenious little system. I leave my pack at my camp site, and go sit by the shelters on the AT, or elsewhere.. I don't want to leave my valuables (phone, wallet, etc..) in my pack unattended, so this is a great solution to unhook it from your shoulder straps, and wear it like a fanny pack - it is small, lightweight, and very well built. Should last a lifetime of use.

BTW i run an Osprey Aether 60 - but I am pretty sure that this would fit most if not all packs. This is just a great little thing to have on the trail.

This is a great bag idea and works better, in my opinion as a standalone fanny or shoulder bag. When used with my Osprey packs, as it was "designed" do do, the clips would come undone from the backpack while hiking if it had a bit of weight in it. If you use it for very light items, it shouldn't be a problem.

Better than expected. I wasn't sure what to expect even after watching the "YouTube" video which looked kind of complicated to set up. I realized after buying this that the youtube video must be an older model. Too many connection points. Anyway, its very simple to attach and detach from your backpack and something I never even knew I needed. I could have used one of these years and years ago. I can say, if you're a female and plan on using one of these, it would have to set up very high or very low but not so much in the middle. The high setting is perfect if you're using a camera and want extra quick access to it. I think I like the fact you can set this grab bag in a variety of places, including on the side even while its attached to your backpack.

If you purchase this and start freaking out because you think the long strap that attaches it to your waist is missing, well its tucked inside through the rear mesh opening where you can also store an extra bandana or buff.

I really really like this and it stays secured to your pack once you simply release the clip. Oh, and the fanny pack mode doesn't look that bad if you only have a few things stored inside. There is one exterior zippered mesh pocket, one inner zippered pocket that contains two small stash pockets.

Other than the padded mesh on the rear, the rest of this grab bag is thin polyester/nylon so it sits pretty flat an not bulky at all.

Note: This product image photo does not reflect the color of this bag very well. Its pretty much GRAY all around except the flourescent colors you see.
