Literally new quality, which is crazy for a 7 year old controller. Great parts with a T3 joystick and all the other goodies. Only problem is that the controller has snapback on the joystick but that wasn't the seller's fault; its just how it was made.

It's a great controller for Smash Bros. and the Game cube

I give it 4 stars because the controller arrived in a bag that is not the original one (the blue one).
That left me wondering if it's really new, since I paid for a product in new conditions.
The controller arrived in its original box and the instruction booklet.
After checking it, the L, R buttons and the sticks shows no signs of use.

Fantastic controller, this one is an official Nintendo controller, so it works well and is very responsive within games (like Melee, etc etc).
The buttons are very quick, and also responsive. The joystick and c-stick are stable, and they stay in place even after taking a beating.
The build of this controller is very good, it is thick and sturdy but not to heavy. This controller can easily survive being thrown against brick walls if necessary, very sturdy overall.

Additionally, this controller is also a tad bit shorter than the original gamecube controller! It has a slightly better arch along the top of the controller, but I am not sure if this actually transfers over to a better functionality when using it.

In the end, it is pretty cheap through Amazon, cheaper than most other places, and in addition, you get free same day shipping, or free two-day shipping with prime. The product also came in the original Japanese box, which leads me to believe that these are domestic and authentic Japanese Nintendo controllers! Great deal, quick shipping, good packaging, and fantastic product!

Ich habe den Controller bei JAPAN-4U für 34,23€ inkl. Versand gekauft um ihn an der Gamecube einzusetzten.
Ich spiele leidenschaftlich gern Donkey Konga, ja schon fast auf Profi Niveau. (Smash Bros nur sehr selten.)
Wer Donkey Konga nicht kennt: Es handelt sich um ein Rhythmus-Spiel, ähnlich wie Guitar Hero, in dem man sehr schnell hintereinander sehr präzise die geforderten Tasten drücken muss.

Nun habe ich meinen in die Jahre gekommenen original Controller von damals. Er spielt sich immer noch ganz passabel doch ein neuer muss her. Auch um mal schöne Stunden zu zweit vor GC verbringen zu können.

Zunächst habe ich vom nächsten GameStop einen neuen, (nachgemachten) Gamecube Controller für 20€ erstanden. Der ist auch recht gut aber für meine elitären Ansprüche nicht gut genug. Deshalb, so dachte ich, müsse ich wohl einen nagelneuen original Controller kaufen. Damit habe ich auch voll ins schwarze getroffen. Ich kann mich nicht mehr zurückerinnern, wie gut sich mein erster Controller mal gespielt hat, aber der neue ist mindestens genauso gut, wenn nicht sogar besser. Die Tastenanschläge sind butterweich und das Spiel unter den Knöpfen perfekt abgestimmt. Auch sind die Tasten nicht laut. Was als einziger Unterschied zum alten original auffällt, ist, dass der große linke Steuerstick in 45° Winkeln leicht einsnappt. Das ist aber kein Nachteil.

Die Verpackung war japanisch. Die Anleitung auch, ausschließlich. Aber wer liest schon die Anleitung von seinem GC Controller?
Der Controller entspricht exakt dem abgebildeten schwarzen, mit silbernem Smash-Bros. Logo in der Mitte. Äußerlich lässt sich seine japanische Herkunft nicht erkennen.

Ganz klare Kaufempfehlung für jeden, der Spitzenqualität sucht.
Wer nur mal seine alten Spiele ausgräbt und ein, zwei Stunden klimpert, für den reicht auch ein guter nicht-original Controller. Beispielsweise der von GameStop. Doch bitte kauf keine für 10€. Die taugen nichts.

Que mas puedo decir, es como tener un control original de Cubo en las manos.
se siente muy bien, los botones son suaves. el cordon es un poco mas largo que el original, lo cual me agrada.
recomendable para remplasar un generico, vale la pena.

The best. Many pro players use this exact controller in multiple smash games for a reason. (AXE etc.)

The triggers are so good. They press very easy and give you so much control over your shield and the control stick is precise and you will notice that shield dropping and shield movement is easier to pull off especially when stressed.

The best part about this controller is that it just hurts less to play. I'm a falco main and wave dashing out of shine and L canceling into wave dash used to make my left ring finger hurt so bad due to the hard pressing triggers of my old controller. I play longer now, and have improved so much more as compared to my old gamecube controllers.

If you aren't purchasing these controllers to play Super Smash Bros. and want to play other gamecube games, I would still highly recommend this controller because if I can run 190-220 actions per minute for months and the controllers works perfect still, you can trust that it will last you years.

Bring on the Nostalgia!

This controller is great and feels just like the original from back in the day. The buttons are very responsive with 'crisp' tactile feel. The grip is basic (like the original controller) but comfortable. If you're new to the controller, and plan on playing a lot, be prepared for hand cramps/pains. Your hands are probably not used to the shape and button placements, so it will take a while for your hands to adjust.

The L and R buttons have the same two levels of tactile response that the original controllers have, which is important for many games.

The plastic is durable and does not feel like it will easily break. The buttons seem durable, but dedicated players (especially Super Smashers) will probably burn through at least one controller in their lifetime.

If you're getting this to use with the Wii U or for PC, get "Mayflash GameCube Controller Adapter for Wii U and PC USB, 4 Port" to go with it (links aren't working, sorry). Google guides for setting it up, and you'll be good to go. I use mine with it and Dolphin (emulator) and the responsiveness is AMAZING.

The cord is really long (close to too long) which is the only thing that comes to a complaint about the controller.

Would recommend.
