トイボックスことロビニィは青い超人スマックスに誘われて彼の故郷へいくことに
意外にもついたところはファンタジーの世界だった。お菓子の家で
彼の育ての親達（２頭身キャラ）、姉らしき人物ＲＥＸＡ（レックサア？）らの登場
「トップ１０」に入る前のいきさつ、胸の手形の秘密などが明らかに！

当然、背景の所々にどこかで見たことあるぞというキャラ達や
悪趣味かもしれない天使の丸焼き、ユニコーンのお肉などアランムーアコード炸裂
この物語をみてスマックスのモデルが“青い妖精スマーフ”ではないかと連想させてしまう。
とにかく非常に解りやすい画面構成である

volume speciale di TOP TEN, sempre di Moore, dove si spiegano bene le origini dell'agente Smax e del perchè è arrivato nel nostro mondo dalla sua dimensione, non parlo della trama per non fare spoiler ma dico solo che l'ho trovato molto divertente perchè prende in giro il fantasy classico e anche tanti altri fumetti fantasy, lo consiglio a tutti.

This sequel/spin-off of Top Ten is a weird one. The artwork is cartoonish, the characters whimsical, and the plot caught somewhere between sitcom and epic fantasy adventure. It's a very different vehicle than the fantastical crime drama of the Top Ten series, and yet it's every bit as brilliant and entertaining as its parent project.

This book delves into the world and backstory of the surly blue giant Smax, who returns home with his partner Robyn Slinger, aka "Toybox". Hilarity ensues, but the goofiness of Smax and Robyn's misadventures never sells itself cheap, providing plenty of sharp wit, strong characters and interactions, and a few clever in-jokes to watch out for. The art, though far from the realistic style of Top Ten, is still charming and fits the tone of the story far better.

It's a rather jarring change in style that might be off-putting at first glance for fans of Top Ten, but it's a still a fun adventure in it's own right, and definitely recommended for fans of Smax himself.

A very funny ,imaginative and well written/drawn book that is a Spin off of the first 10 comics of The Top 10 Series . This book is a crazy mix of futuristic fantasy , dragons , witches, mythology , science , Pop culture and wordplay .Although being mashed up with many Pop-Culture references the story flows smoothly and its highly engaging reed for older audience.It will put a smile on your face ;-)
