北欧版、進撃の巨人です！
但し、立体起動装置はありませんので、逃げる手段は車か走るか・・・です。
超大型巨人（のような）は出てきます（笑）
あっさりやられますが・・・

ですが、最終的に怖いのはやっぱり人間ということでしょうか？？

『ブレア・ウィッチ・プロジェクト』みたいな手持ちカメラによる疑似ドキュメンタリー映画。
なので常時カメラが揺れていて疲れます。揺れる映像に弱い方は注意です。

まず初っ端から『ブレア・ウィッチ・プロジェクト』ほどのリアリティはなく、大したことないなあと思って観ているところに間抜けなモンスターが早々に登場してずっこけました。
まるで極初期の怪獣映画のようで、こりゃあ酷いと一旦は思いました。
が、我慢して観ているうちに、観方が悪かったことに気付きました。本作は本気で怖い映画を期待して観てはいけなかったのです。
本作は、バカげたことを、間抜けなモンスターたちを、楽しむ映画なのです。ギャグ映画なのです。
皮肉でそう言うのではありません。最初からそういう狙いで作られているのです。最後まで観ればそのことがはっきりします。人間のオッサンのようなモンスター（トロール：北欧に伝わる妖怪のようなもの）たちが愛おしくなってきます。
あ、それでもそれほど面白くはないんですけどね（笑）。

Took a chance on this one. I do not like found footage films (screaming into a jittery camera), but a very high recommendation from Monster Madness and I gave it a try. Interestingly, the most annoying thing was that while running, so much viable footage was "taken." On the flipside, I actually enjoyed the junk footage that took place, like when the students are reunited and hugging it up. One oddity, they'll cut away sometimes to break up a scene (again, while dialog is going), which makes me wonder if they have more than one camera "actually" being used by the characters. Feels like a flub. I like details, like the duct tape on the jacket, the eaten away fenders of the hunter's truck, and every location (from interiors to exteriors, a good deal a of variety and a nice tour of the country). The CG is pretty good, and the practical effects are mixed in well. I enjoyed the effects, from the various trolls themselves to mundanity like the trees falling over and even the railing of the bridge being broken. I like the characters, too. My favorite is the guy in blue. The film "catches" nice reactions from him all the time - for example, his knowing look when the hunter embraces the veterinarian. Nice details in this film, top to bottom, start to finish. The dubbing is abysmal, though. Definitely watch with subtitles! Does this inspire me to watch more found footage films? Yes, I'd actually give them a try. Does it make me love the found footage type of film? No, I still prefer traditional films, but that ending is good. Very happy to have this in my collection. Recommended. If the kids come back to be the next generation of troll hunters, I'd buy it in a second!

The movie information on the Prime site is wrong. The movie is actually in Norwegian, not English. Terrible movie. I'm only happy it is included in Prime; otherwise I would have asked for me money back. :(

好きなジャンルでトロールモキュメンタリーと新鮮なのは良かったです。
しかしあまり怖さもなく調査と言った感じでイマイチです。
後は撮影にチープさがなくしっかりとした感じでテレビクルーみたいでそういうのもイマイチ好きになれない感じでした。
やっぱりこの手のは心霊系じゃないと合わないなと感じました。

よくある、主役（モンスター）を入れ替えても違和感なく成立してしまう映画だと思って観るのを避けていたのだが、結果観てよかった。

B級とか脚本がどうとか作品性がどうとか作りが雑とか、そんなことよりも、この作品からにじみ出ている感受性の高さから来たであろうUMA愛を存分に感じることができる。

これにナレーションと演出文字が表示されたら、川口浩探検隊の目指したかった世界になる‥と思う。

こういうものに大金を出してくれる人、純粋にUMA愛を持って自分の妄想した世界を作りたい、表現したいと思って、実現しちゃう人がいる国というのは素晴らしいなぁ。

B級と言えばB級ですし突っ込み所もありますが、思ってたよりも設定や小物にリアリティがありますね。
トロールのCGがチープで始めは笑ってしまいましたが、見せ方のバラエティが豊富で、ハラハラワクワクで最後まで楽しめました。

トロールは、北欧圏のひとたちにとっては日本の妖怪みたいなものなのでしょうか。
存在を否定しつつ、でもいつまでもその存在感は残る…。
だとしたらそれは共感出来るし、そこをベースにして映画の中だけの幻想を共有出来れば。

そこらへんはSFと全く同じ。
映画の中だけで成立してくれれば良いのです。世界観が。
そこに……あと一歩、足りない。現実に引き戻される。
いちばん良くなかったのは、トロール生体に精通している科学者へのインタビュー場面。
なんじゃありゃ。笑　もしかすると翻訳ミスかな？
「太陽光に含まれるビタミンDうんぬん」って話以降……誰かおかしいと思わなかったんかな。
あれならいっそ、「詳細不明」でミステリアスなベールにくるんでくれた方が良かった。
それに類する雑さ加減が全体の説得力を格段に落とす。

こう言う主題の映画好きなんですけれどね。
なかなか、、、難しい。

I first watched this film ten years ago and my love for it has ever since been captivated. I'm American and recently got to share this film with others through a watch party and my friends from around the world enjoyed the entire ride! While some of the graphics may not hold up to today's standards, at least in all the dark scenes you can still see the characters and locations, an element that seems to bewilder directors and digital artists today. I don't mean to take a jab at today's movies, because Trollhunter is absolutely comparable to even some of the current mythical magical adventure stories we have today. What sets this movie apart is its well envisioned documentary style screen presence, as one of my UK friends said, "I know this isn't real, but it feels like it is!" That's one of the tantalizing aspects about this film - you want to believe what lies in the caves, what shakes the trees in the distance, what howls beckon from the mountain tops, is all very real. Of course there are people who would try to cover up any and all stories about a Trollhunter, and that's what makes this movie all the more, without any doubt, spectacular. In my review, mentioning nationalities is somewhat relevant, as this film just gets you thinking beyond borders and more about how just old this Earth really is. This film portrays a type of ancient thought provoking feeling in part because of its beautiful vast mountainscapes so you can't help but wonder what's out there wandering around on this globe. Is it causing chaos? Is it really a myth? Are humans capable of working together to solve the problem? Or, will worlds continue to collide with powerful mystical uncertainty? Well, Trollhunter can't answer these questions for us either, but it certainly demonstrates the sheer awe and fright of what could be lurking out there! (Spoiler alert: what a cliffhanger!)

Trolljegeren es un pequeño gran regalo de Noruega para el mundo. Desde que la vi por primera vez quedé prensado a ella y no podía esperar para agregarla a mi colección. Me emocioné mucho cuando la encontré en Mix Up (a un precio alarmantemente alto), pero me retuve de comprarla porque la portada que tiene la versión mexicana es simplemente ESPANTOSA. Parece una impresión barata de puesto callejero y, siendo el coleccionista que presumo ser, no podía permitir que manchara la calidad visual de mis Blu Rays.

Mi sorpresa fue que está en mejor precio en Amazon.mx que en tiendas físicas en México. Incluyendo el cargo por envío. Para mí fue una inversión deliciosa y que vale cada centavo para al fin agregar esta joya de la fantasía/terror a mi colección. El material adicional es poco pero basta para mantenerte entretenido y satisfecho al menos por un tiempo.

La calidad de imagen es excelente (considerando que se supone que debe verse un tanto amateur) y el audio todavía mejor. Los gruñidos de los troles son ensordecedores cuando se amplifican con un equipo de sonido decente.

En corto, si quieres experimentar algo diferente, con muy buena calidad y empaparte de algo fresco y divertido, definitivamente Troll Hunter es la opción.
